Tanisha D. Jones was born in New Orleans , Louisiana and grew up in the greater New Orleans area. In 2012, she released a book of poetry, Blue Notes. In 2013, she wrote the first book in The Fallen Series, The First to Fall. Her short story, Serenity, was featured in the 2016 Women in Horror Annual Volume 1 anthology. In August 2016, she completed the second in the series, Mark of the Fallen. She is a member of the Romance Writers of American and the Southern Louisiana Chapter of the RWA.
