Trixie is an award-winning author and filmmaker, an artist, a film industry grip, and a cancer survivor. Born in Wyoming, she spent most of her adult life in central Florida and southern Louisiana. She now lives on the beach in Connecticut. When she isn't writing or reading, she is tending her massive vegetable garden, solving cold case files with her younger sister, singing her heart out at karaoke, solving cold case files, or kayak fishing. Trixie Fairdale is a cozy mystery pen name (an easy way to keep her various genre fiction separate for readers.) She has also published award-winning horror and fantasy under her real name, Erica Summers. She also writes contemporary romance under the pen name Odessa Alba.
