Valerie Bloomer was born and raised in Katy, Texas. She toiled away her days as an adjuster for over a decade in the worker’s comp industry. It was during this time she realized a deeper understanding of her desire to help others. Despite this, Valerie has always had a burning desire to write. Ideas and thoughts swirled around for years before she decided the time had come to write them down. Valerie spent countless hours developing her first novel, The Weekend Engagement, and hopes to provide as much joy to readers as she discovered writing it. When she is not writing, Valerie enjoys spending time with family. She is a whiz in the kitchen and loves getting engrossed in a good romance novel.
