Born in Youngstown, Ohio, to a steelworker and a teacher turned homemaker, Vincent F. A. Golphin (1952 - ) is a writer, journalist and educator in Central Florida. After more than 30 years, the retired professor still writes every day and teaches on occasion at Orlando's Valencia College. His recent works are featured in the Thrill of the Hunt: Twisted Nursery Rhymes: and The Gathering anthologies. Other significant works include, Grandma Found a Gecko ((Elephant Eye Press), an early reader, and 10 Stories Down (Foothills Press), poems based on experiences in Beijing, China.
