ileso DMC is an immigrant from the great country of Costa Rica. When he arrived, ileso had to learn English in order to do well in school. Reading and writing were a struggle of which he eventually overcame. Life after high school brought him to San Diego where the sun is just as rich as the property taxes. After graduating college, ileso came up with several ideas that he believes will make for great reading content. ileso DMC is a pen name that he discovered and suits him nicely simply because of how well it relates to his past. His writing inspiration comes from abstract thinking. Sometimes the abstract is beyond the scope of explanation that he will bury it and come back to it months later. Giving back to the community is a part of ileso’s persona. His efforts are paying for a child’s school meal account from a low budget school and passing out survival gear to the unsheltered (crank operated flashlight, toothbrush, and deodorant). Instead of handing out money to the homeless, he will buy them a meal or whatever snacks he has inside his vehicle. Odd things that ileso likes to do are drive through streets he has never been on before, look at people’s garages (to see how clean they are), and go to places with low reviews (because everyone deserves a chance). ileso will use a portion of his book earnings to convert his book into Braille and send them to organizations for the blind and visually impaired free of charge. This world is predicated on vision. Those that are without sight should receive the highest opportunity to join us. Just one small way to make the world a little better.
