A captivating and sometimes off-putting jaunt into the world of sexual psychology. As a man, I can say this should be required reading for anyone in a long-term relationship.

The two joke phrases, "show me a married woman and I'll show you a guy tired of sleeping with her" and "there are only two kinds of women; those who cheat, and really good liars" are now no longer just a funny anecdotal quibs but brutal truths.

Well worth a credit or the cash. The book kept me engaged and entertained the entire time, I was disappointed when it was over. I couldn't stop telling my husband bits of information. On a personal level, it gave me a clear understanding of female arousal and the actions/unconcious behaviours that can come with ovulation. I've always been fascinated by human sexuality and I will definitely listen to it many more times.

What a way to start off a New Year of listening. 2024 is already looking up

This book starts out very strong, with somewhat uncomfortable, but interesting, and scientifically-backed observations on human sexuality. Unfortunately it proceeds to rapidly develop a heavy ginocentric bias in the narrative, which makes sense because one of their assertions is that men don't pay for books (I guess you have to pander to your target audience if you want to make a bestseller). I have no problem with proven scientifically backed gender differences but here's a tip - if you claim to write a science based book, don't take liberties with claims that one evolutionary gender trait is superior to the other. Had your bias been reversed, you'd have been cancelled by now. Still a worthwhile read if you can find it on sale for a buck or two, but I regred wasting a full credit on it.
