À propos de cet audio
They call me irreparable.
A feral omega who can't be tamed. And I've bitten every alpha who's tried.
Before they can either put me down or send me to a breeding facility, fate intervenes in the form of a masked spec-ops team that deals in death and destruction.
The Ghosts.
Valek, the wolfish serial killer plucked from death row.
Plague, the combat medic who deals death with surgical precision.
Whiskey, the big trash-talking himbo with a short fuse.
Wraith, the mute, scarred monster with a fractured mind.
And Thane, the stone-cold leader who rules his pack of rabid attack dogs with an iron fist.
The Council that oversees the last fragments of our society has decided the only thing that can tame these savage alphas is an omega. "Control the omegas, control the alphas," as their infamous saying goes.
And we're so rare there's only one omega they're willing to risk.
Only one omega they view as disposable.
The Ghost Alpha Unit series is a dark, reverse harem Omegaverse set in a war-torn dystopian society structured around the alpha/beta/omega dynamic, with alphas holding most positions of power and omegas holding very little. There are no supernatural or paranormal elements in this Omegaverse outside of alpha traits such as barks, pack structures, and enhanced physical abilities. These are not standalones and must be listened to in order.
For mature listeners. A complete list of content warnings can be found on the author's website.
©2024 Lenore Rosewood (P)2025 Podium AudioFirst off, Wraith. The resident beast of the pack. I don’t think I’ve ever been so emotionally invested in a character who can barely speak, carries the weight of unspeakable trauma, and yet still needs Ivy in every fiber of his being. His chapters? Haunting doesn’t even begin to cover it. The pain, the longing, the psychological torment — it will haunt you long after you put the book down.
Then there’s the rest of the Ghost Unit — Thane, Plague, Valak, Whiskey — dysfunctional, dangerous, and deliciously unhinged. The chemistry between them is electric, volatile, and terrifyingly real. Watching Ivy try to navigate this pack while simultaneously hating them, distrusting them, and getting herself into so many hair-pulling situations had me both screaming at her and banging my head on my desk begging her to stop being a moron at the same time.
And the growth of the characters? Absolute perfection. Even with Ivy being a hot mess for 3/4 of the book, her evolution, and theirs, is so satisfying. You can feel every tiny shift, every step toward trust, every fragile bond forming under trauma and danger.
Now, the heat scenes — yes, yes, people will feel Ivy’s heat and go WHOA. It’s jarring at first, especially if you’re new to Omegaverse tropes, but here’s the thing: in this world, the heat isn’t just… heat. It’s a catalyst. It’s a force that drives the pack together, forces emotional vulnerability, and cements the bonds that trauma and danger alone can’t create. It’s intense, yes, but it works beautifully within the story’s logic.
If you love messy, dangerous, emotionally gut-punching packs, alpha dynamics that will make your chest ache, and an omega whose journey from distrust to connection is absolutely compelling, Feral Omega is a must-read. And Wraith? Oh, Wraith… I think about him at 3 a.m., probably cry a little, and then go back to listening to the audiobook on repeat.
In short: wild, haunting, messy perfection. Grab tissues. Grab your favourite blanket. And maybe a stiff drink, because this one will wreck you in all the best ways.
My only tiny quibble with the narration: the voice actors did an amazing job bringing my favourite characters to life — seriously, they nailed it. But I do wish they had swapped the voices for certain scenes: like, if Ivy is in the pack POV chapters, it would’ve been perfect to hear her voiced by the female voice actor instead (and vice versa — any male dialogue in the chapters where Ivy is telling her PoV chapters should’ve been voiced by the male voice actor). Listening to a man trying to voice Ivy or a woman trying to voice Plague or Whiskey? Yeah… it kinda killed me a wee bit! (But of course doing it that way I am sure is more costly but it would have really immersed me way deeper) Little quibble like I said but not enough for me to deduct any stars!
