Nix comes on a little strong at first, but Kadence puts him in his place quickly. The bossiness and possessiveness is a major turn on for many women. The positive ownership displayed is an aspect in many relationships that very few people address and discuss, but it's far from uncommon. This book just happens to be intense about it. Nix would never hurt her; he adores her, and feels extremely protective of her. He just happens to show it rather aggressively about showing it.

Narrators are mostly fine. The inflections that the female voice has when Nix is speaking sounds quite mocking, when he is so far from being belittling. It took quite a lot away from the scenes for me. It was distracted and suddenly made the serious (or sexy) situation sound insincere.

This story had me hooked from the beginning, I left the connection with the characters and overall loved the story.

Love the story from the beginning

Love the MC Alpha males. Especially, when you see behind the curtain and a woman can make an Alpha break.

Narrator Joe Arden always reads amazingly, I can always feel the tender moments. Lidia reads every sentence too angrily, too much pronunciation on every word doesn't match the tone. When its meant to be a tender or pondering moment vs. an anger or frustrating moment. She also reads with too much saliva.

This book made me want to watch sons of anarchy all over again just for Jax and Tara. I love that Nix’s dad is a genuine guy and isn’t similar to Clay from SOA. I’m so intrigued I NEED to know what’s going on with Holly and Sy ASAP!

A story about a biker gang but it focuses on romance and sex, with only a little violence and death? Count me in!

Wasn't impressed with this one. like why can't she be his mom!? The dialog chosen just wasn't quite right. It's too much on the caveman side of things, with no real care for her to balance it out. Same with the kid, until the mom shows her true colours. He''s barely talked about. If he's the priority like both said he was, he should have been more in the picture in the beginning, and talked about during major decisions.
