Characters are kinda cringy and story line has been done 1000 times, lots of sex, but not invested in the characters. Narration is spot on.

So I’ve read other books like this and I enjoyed it but the story was just very unrealistic and simple.
The fact that so many of these books make the characters millionaires or billionaires is laughable they are not that common.

I also felt like the lead female protagonist needed counseling and found it kinda sad that she came into this kink at 16 years old (statutory rape technically as he was much older then her and described herself as being out of her mind on Coke & tequila, when she lost her virginity on top of a car). Considering the scary and traumatizing situation she had just left at home I don’t think a degrading kink for a 16 year old was right.

Luckily the book takes place when she’s now 21 and she falls in love with her Dom, he loves her too but is being blackmailed by her gross “ mother”.

The fact that they were able to get her mother into the club at the end was way too easy and getting her to confess everything and transfer all the money that should have been her daughters. It was just way too easy! The storytelling was lacking.

I’m happy enough with the ending because when they chose to be with each other he was going to stop being with other girls and less of a monster to her, which would make for a healthier relationship.

Troy Duran is amazing as always and this story had me on the edge of my seat at times waiting to see who the villian was and why. If you aren't a fan of kink / BDSM themes you should probably give this series a miss though.

Cringy. I’m all for a some nasty stuff. But this was just gross. Mind you I only got 10 minutes in, it just left a sour taste in my mouth. No story line, just right off the bat sex. Nothing interesting to keep me listening. No wonder the series is free..
