À propos de cet audio
They're locked between love and hate....
I’ve spent years pushing her away. She thinks I hate her, but really, I know she deserves better than a college dropout turned tattoo artist. She’s the good girl, the complete opposite of my bad boy nature. But something about her kind eyes and heart-shaped face has always caught my attention, not that she has ever realized that with how I treat her.
I’m not a one-woman man, and I won’t allow myself to hurt Tara that way. Her mother makes her believe she’ll never be good enough. I won’t do the same when I know it’s me that’ll never measure up to the man she deserves.
But when tragedy hits home, I can’t watch another tear fall from her beautiful face, so I took something I should never have touched.
Then I let her believe a lie. I stayed silent while her heart broke in front of me. She walked away. I didn’t stop her. I should have because I learned the hard way—lies lead to consequences you’re never prepared for.
This is Shawn and Tara's story. It's book one in the series and a standalone.
The editing of this book was updated in August 2022.

Very good

This superstar of a man is coupled with a female lead that says things like "at 5 foot 8 and 150lbs I could really do with loosing some weight" and of course is a curvy dream with double D's as well as a domesticated goddess that goes to full time college, works 2 part time jobs as well as cleans up after and cooks amazing meals for all her room mates... And what's with the Corona??? Every character in the book that drinks beer drinks a "refreshing bottle of Corona". Every. One. I hope the writer gets free Corona for the rest of her life.
Another disgusting mention is when they discuss the poor woman that was "so weak that she decided to end her life." This "weakness" is mentioned several times.
The spicy parts try to be hot but they really aren't, it's like bad college sex that tries to be supercool but really isn't. There is way, way better out there! I do not understand the positive reviews on this book at all.
Just....no
