I'm not a fan of the narration. It's not so much the voice, but I think it's the studio she recorded in. There's a strange quality of both an echo and dead silence as she speaks, which I find a little distracting.

Similarly the reading has some strange pauses between characters as they talk to eachother. It makes the conversation seem a little robotic as opposed to a natural flow of conversation. I prefer to listen to the book a bit sped up to combat these pauses, but yes the speech pattern still seems less than believable.

There are some redundant descriptions from the writter (as in descriptions from the characters point of view restated 3x in 3 slight variations) that could have been edited out.

The plot line in general is good for a free story, I wouldn't spend the credit on it though.
