I liked that this book, like book 1, went back and forth in chapters between fmc & mmc pov & Narration. Loved the mmc narrator. Had trouble rating the narration becsuse I had a hard time listening to the female narrator…the last word of the sentences sounded she was trying to make it sound sexy or something -drove me nuts but not enough that I couldn’t finish it but that’s probably because of the mmc chapters to give my ears a break lol. THE STORY - murder mystery with spice and fae, I really liked it for a contemporary setting as I usually stick to historical/magical kingdoms. Im not sure how they fell in love as they never got to know each other just were sex buddies but it was still a good read. I will be listening to book 3 as well.
