I got through the whole book but it would have been much better with a male narrator for Max.

They needed a male to narrate Max. Just wasn’t feeling it having the woman do an impression of him. Couldn’t get through it as wasn’t believable to me

1) why do authors write female protagonist 50/50 no back bones and with low or none existent confidence.
2) I’m half way through this book and 👌🏾 close to DNR this book
3) performance is saving this book tho 🙏🏾

Story could of been more captivating with a male narrator for Max. I enjoy dual narrators. Where’s Sebastian York when you need him.

The dual authors doesn’t bother me as the pov was only Rory’s. the dirty talk was hot in a not too cheesy kinda way. Out of all the hockey books I’ve read so far this one has had more drama and trauma than them and I like the way the author tells the story. Yes I’m dying to read/hear maxs side of things but I also enjoy having the limited view of the Main Character.
