I mean the title in a good way. This is not a mindless shoot em up invasion story or a typical invasion. The story is thought provoking and has just enough realism to make you think how a real invasion could occur.

I have read all but a handful of Peter Cawdron’s First Contact novels, I really enjoyed how this differed from anything I have read in this series before.

In the afterword of the book, the all three explains that fewer than 1% of readers leave a review for a book. That would be me. But not for this book.

I've only recently begun to read a lot of Science fiction books. And this book deals with the arrival of aliens in a manner I've never been exposed to before.

I loved the way. he also explains how an alien species would be able to make it to Earth, and also how they would react upon arriving on Earth.

Let's just say it's not the typical Hollywood scenario.

The last chapter was the most surprising to me. the author had me thinking one way but he sent things in a different direction. which made the whole experience very satisfying.

and that's it before I spoil it for others!

great story, great pacing, great ending

I enjoyed this story, it contained a lot of scientific explanation throughout the story and the characters were likeable. I feel that it wrapped up with a clean ending however I would enjoy finding out what happens next for our characters as well as the 'visitors'. All in all a solid quick listen.

unique sci fi

I read the Author also writes horror. There are parts of this that come close to horror, Sci Fi maybe, but disturbing. My wife was listening to this in bed next to me when she started crying. I didn’t get it at first then listened to a couple sections and was disgusted. WARNING PLOT descriptions ahead: Great reading if you like wonderful animals violently killed by humans, jungle forest decimated. Thousands of people dead. Sci Fi? There’s certainly some. Not much.

Sad, very sad. Some Sci Fi, mostly about the worst in Humanity. How did this get positive ratings?
