Description

Charles Lenox, Victorian gentleman and armchair explorer, likes nothing more than to relax in his private study with a cup of tea, a roaring fire and a good book. Very good

I enjoyed the story as well as the performance. The tail had enough twists to keep it interesting.

Sherlock Holmesian Mystery

Period mystery novel that follows an aristocratic detective and his colleagues to discover who murdered a young maid.
Definitely this one will appeal to a very specific crowd. Think Midsomer Murders, and Father Brown . If you enjoy these TV shows, this is likely right up your alley too. The characters are congenial and the aforementioned detective is a highly likable protagonist who is progressive with a sense of chivalry. You don't need the murder to be solved but you want the protagonist to solve the murder, if you get what I mean. It's light upbeat fare, but I love it!
