On a dark night twenty years ago Whitney Singleton listened to a boy’s whispered word and fell in love. The only problem was she was twelve and he was twenty-four and he was not in love with her. Far from it, since she was just a child. However she never forgot the cowboy who whispered to her in the dark and encouraged her to be fearless. Twenty years later that cowboy has been tasked with helping her move to his hometown. She’s sure he doesn’t remember that night long ago or how he changed her life and he definitely doesn’t know that she’s been in love with him all these years.
Then, after learning of the tragedy in his past, it could be her turn to encourage him to be fearless. And maybe, part of being fearless means letting him know how she feels. Could there be a future for them after all?
