A little slow moving but worth the journey
The story starts out a little slow but by the end I was laughing and felt like I really knew Ove!

A story that gets you right in the feels.
The reader’s voice was was nice to listen to and was easy to follow when she switched characters.
The story made me laugh out loud and fog up my glasses with hot tears. A heartwarming story about life, death and living.
Would definitely recommend.

This was so worth the credit!!
This is a story that really got me hooked right from the start. Such excellent narration made this so enjoyable to listen to. Now I can go watch the movie and get to know the characters even more. I’ll be reading more by this author too.. hopefully all his books are this engaging!

A Wonderful Story
I completely enjoyed this story! Ove's character was vividly developed and portrayed, and the unexpected female narrator did a fabulous job-perfect enunciation and inflection. The author is a brilliant wordsmith. I am glad I came across this book before I will soon see the movie, now more deeply familiar with the true characters. Thank you for offering us this lovely story.

Endearing and sad

Charming, funny and so full of heart
To start generation was great. The voices didn’t annoy me at all, and I found that it fit the story well.
I realized I fell in love with Ove when I found myself laughing chapter after chapter. As the story goes on, and this character develops, you don’t even notice how engrossed you are with his life. It was beautifully written and I’m glad to spend time reading it.
