Me "Oh a cute little Christmas romance book..."
Also me one chapter in "Oh...this is not your standard romance and I'm in love."
Julie & Sierra great such an elaborate and fascinating world! You immediately fall in love with Bee, her energy is contagious and she is surrounded by the most eccentric characters. Once you meet Luca, Angel, Sunny and so many others you will understand.
Nolan is an ex-boy band, bad boy trying to re-shape his image...and what better than a Christmas movie to do it! Although the universe has a big surprise in store for him.
The passion Bee and Nolan share is enough to almost combust right off the page.
You will not be disappointed, add this book to your holiday list!

Gives the X in Xmas an entirely new meaning
At 50+ years old, I am not cool enough for this book. I don’t tweet or insta and barely recognized a lot of the pop-culture references. I had to look up “septum ring” and have no idea if any of the Hollywood industry stuff was accurate. And don’t even get me started on the p😜rn lingo. But, I had an absolute blast listening to this.
This was funny, raunchy, smart and also sweet and romantic in the spirit of every good Christmas rom-com, and especially Kate & Leopold. The humor is sly and ruthless, delivering non-stop send-ups, put-downs and satire of everything from the X-rated industries to Hallmark holiday specials. Vegans, TED talks, BBQ, Olympic figure skating, boy bands, and Burning Man. The comedy is strong with this one, if you can handle bite and constant innuendos. There are meaningful subplots (a mom who’s bipolar) and occasionally serious points made (the downsides of fame), but the overall tone is fun and sexy.
This is chock full of LGBTQ and body positivity. I loved Bee’s curvy confidence and I love, love, loved hunky Nolan’s crushing on her like he was the insecure one. I knew narrator Sebastian York would deliver,
but Joy Nash was just as fabulous. All I want for next Christmas is for these pairs of authors and narrators to make this a series deliver a book 2 with a new couple and the colorful supporting characters from this book.

Surprisingly equal parts smut and depth
Going in to this book I expected to have a quick fun smutty read that had a Christmas twist to it.
As I listened I learned not only was I getting what I wanted but I also was met with a cast of inclusive characters. This book has it all. Mental health awareness, multicultural, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and then some.
Plus the emotion that was only made more evident by the actors/narrators of this audiobook…
This book is what my Christmas needed but also what my book slump needed! I’m cured! On to my next read which won’t be nearly as amazing but I have hope it is halfway as good.

Spicy holiday fun!!
I enjoyed this so much! It’s spicy and fun and I love that it celebrates body positivity! The premise is great! An awesome holiday read!

This one was a fun one
This was a fun book to listen to. I have been going through some tough times lately and this listen helped get through it. The female narrator did a great job with this one, however, I have been having a hard time with the male narrator all throughout. I enjoyed this read.

Not so Vanilla Rom-Com
If you’re looking for a vanilla rom-com meet cute, this is not for you. This book was everything I wanted it to be. Funny, realistic and entertaining. There are plenty of people in the world with different lifestyles, sexual desires and occupations for that matter. Nice to see representation. The scenes were spicy enough and not riddled throughout the book which makes this a great combination of romance and comedy. I also enjoyed the dual narrations.

Very hard to get thru…
Hmmm… so I got this book to listen to since it was trending during the holidays… didn’t like the voice of the guy’s part… reminded me of Creed from The Office so I couldn’t get into the “spicy” parts. Story was kinda boring… took me over a month just to listen to it so I wouldn’t feel like it was a waste of starting. Would not recommend

Wow!
I love a meet cute, especially a meet cute. I was not expecting the sexy scenes to be so sexy, but I enjoyed them! This goes to show that people can be interested in multiple genres of entertainment at the same time.

Steamy Christmas!
I needed something lighter after reading Iron Flame. This definitely gets you into the holiday spirit, with some extra spicy on the side 🥵. Woah!
