Description
Joey Pigza is a boy with big ideas and a heart bigger than his best friend in the whole world - Pablo, his loving chihuahua. Costumes and Chaos with Joey Pigza
Any new Jack Gantos project is cause for celebration in my world—especially when I can listen to him narrate. Jack is a champion of the underdog—and in the latest Joey Pigza title, underdogs include kids and shelter pets. Joey isn’t growing up under the best of circumstances, but he’s got his love for his rescue dog Pablo and a mission to help local shelter animals find “furever” families to keep him going. Of course, things go wrong (from Pablo going missing to Joey being driven home by the police), but this underdog’s big heart and the author’s humor-filled narration had me rooting for Joey every step of the way.

Loved this book!
I love Joey! He knows his home life is not like all the other children, yet he still makes the best of life ever for himself. He is kind, generous and caring!

I love all of the joey pigza books . The only part I don’t think is appropriate. Is his grandma does not take care of him well. Otherwise love it

Sooooooooo AMAZING!!!
this is one of the family favorites for long car rides and casual listening. This book makes us all laugh out loud and makes my daughters cry both happy and sad tears. The narration is of excellent quality and the best part is the ending... but I am not going to disclose anything else so you can experience the same pleaser as we did! I hope you enjoy the book! Have an amazing adventure 😁
