Super cute! One reviewer said they laughed the whole time, I will tell you that there was some funny parts in the book but I have laughed harder at a couple of other books by Pippa. BUT just because I didn’t laugh through this whole book does not mean I did not enjoy it!

Story is ok lead male is funny
A story of a woman who’s been burned by “the man” so to say, but reluctantly falls in love…just took some time to figure that out. Proper amount of steamy sex. Altogether alright.

Hot Heir
This was my first Pippa Grant book and I found it quite entertaining. The humor was quite refreshing. The plot moved along very well and had substance. I would have loved it to be more in depth with interactions with the people of Amoria, but that didn’t diminish the quality of the book. As for narration, Emma Wilder was as usual excellent. Stephen Dexter is one of my favorite narrators; but I found for this book the accent he tried to use was distracting. I would have enjoyed it much more is he wouldn’t have tried to use such a strong accent. Something subtle would have been better

Enjoyed
This was a funny entertaining love story. From enemies to lovers. the baby sister in the story got on my nerves a couple of times but overall I like it.

Hilarious and fast-paced fun read
The audio version probably made this the gem that it is because I was cracking up 80% of the book! The character development was good -- could have gone a bit deeper with these 50 chapters but still good enough to understand and like them. I never understood or liked Papaya and felt her development and growth were lacking, but this wasn't completely about her, so I'll try to overlook that part. Nice comic relief with light spice.

Hm.
This is one weird book. Viktor’s accent was a distraction; As a male character once said (in “Love Actually” or something like it) while trying to pick up a woman in a bar: “I’m not gay, I’m British!” So it just didn’t work for me.
Peach: It’s always like being on a chain gang when a Southern accent is in play. When do I get used to this?
The bottom line for these 2 characters: I found myself waiting for the sex scenes. Unfortunately those were a letdown.
Papaya: Cool 😎 kid. Too bad we didn’t hear her POV…because she more than loves animals - she rescues them! Her Fred is a delight.
MeeMaw: [Spoiler Alert] if only I’d known at the outset that she wouldn’t be heard from personally till the last Epilogue…. What a phenomenal woman!
In any event, even though I chuckled here and there during the listen to these good performers, I wouldn’t have picked Hot Heir had I known what a chore it would be to get to the end.
I’m just grateful it was included in my Membership. If I should give Pippa Grant another try, please give me the best (sparing me, please, the British and Southern accents).

Viktor and Peach
A laugh out loud, charming and highly entertaining romance. Peach and Viktor are absolutely adorable. Their banter is witty, their chemistry is palpable but the connection they develop is perfection. I enjoyed this story.
