The story gets dark........ it’s not the light, romantic storyline you’d thought but it’s worth the listen.

Second times a charm

Not the series for me. The first book was better.
For me this was long, no real high points, alot of the same issues over and over and over.
The story didnt change.
The characters are relatable, however very predictable.
I watched the TV series and I never say this but......I preferred go watch it. I dont think i have ever felt this way.

The reading and writing is stilted, grade school level and so predictable that I skipped over entire chapters and didn’t miss a beat.
I bought the 3 book series on sale otherwise I would have returned this one. The first book wasn’t as mind numbing so fingers crossed for the 3rd.

The story line was too predictable and simple. Narration was poor. Story lacked maturity

High school play

This book is like the most nauseating after school special about eating disorders and body image (complete with long winded lectures), narrated my a nasal woman impersonating a news anchor. It’s hard to listen to and there are little to no redeeming qualities within the story itself. The characters are barely likeable making it hard to invest in.
