À propos de cet audio
A rising star in Christian fiction, Karen Witemeyer brilliantly blends humor and romance in this compelling debut novel.
Texas liveryman Jericho “J.T.” Tucker wants nothing to do with the town’s new dressmaker, Hannah Richardson. He’s all too familiar with her kind - shallow, more devoted to fashion than true beauty. Except for her well-tailored clothing, however, she’s not at all what he expected. Although J.T.’s assumptions and gruff manner rile Hannah, she finds her heart strangely stirred by him - and by his unexpected acts of kindness.
©2010 Karen Witemeyer (P)2010 Recorded Books, LLCI have loved this story so much that I have read it several times, and now have listened to it a few times. It is a wonderful story about our witness, misconceptions, forgiveness, admitting when we're wrong, with lovely scenes, and interesting characters. The characters come alive and you can actually picture them and feel what they're feeling. It has content that brings me closer to God, and challenges me as a human being to be a better person, and I love that. I love the comic relief moments in the book, and there are several. It is a wholesome, wonderful story filled with heart, care, concern, stubbornness, love, apologies, protection, and more. It was wonderful start to this author's career, and one of her best writes ever.
