Perfect if you need a light read
The story was really light and because of it's shortness, the characters development was kind of funny and unrealistic. The story was also incredibly cheesy, but if that's what you're looking for then it's the perfect book. Because of the double narrators with different voices for the same characters, it was difficult to follow who was talking or thinking at times. In general, it was a good, light read.

Easy entertaining listen.
This was a good light listen as I'm occupied with other tasks. It was a cute but not overly flowery story. Appreciated the different voices for the narration. Definitely will look into other works by this author.

fabulous!
I'm not a big fan of regency m/m but I gave this one a try since it was short and the author's name was familiar. I really liked it!! a fun romp that had me hooked.
some really great perspective on what we now call hoarding in Regency era.
will definitely read more by this author

very good book
at first it's looked weak at best but then it got very interesting and the more I listen the more I was captivated by the story especially Toby , I have not finished yet but I could not wait to give a review bravo well done

Ignore the Cover, this is NOT YA
Nice novella, a story line that had one titled person who was convincingly prepared (and had a sound reason) to be prepared to walk away from that for his own HEA.
I do feel that this was let down by the narration and the beyond irritating YA type cover.

Sterile voice acting
The voice acting felt like the book was of an academic nature, rather than a romance. Every now and then it would be okay, but I had to stop before I could reach the end of chapter 5.

Short and fun
This little novelette is a reasonable introduction to K J Charles’ style, I encourage those of you who wanted more depth/angst to check out her longer novels, which are lovely. This book has dual narration alternating by chapter, which seemed prett my unnecessary. We ended up getting two different male voices for each character. I tend to prefer a single narrator who has come up with a character concept which is consistent throughout.

Great - explicit
I loved it! I got confused about who was doing what sometimes, but I loved the voices he used for the characters, and it’s a nice short story.
I did think it was more of a teens book but then in the first chapter got an earful of smut so enjoy but be warned :D

great shott stort
This shirt story is fun, cute, and light for the heart.
The connection to another novella by the author also increases the enjoyment (once you clue into who one of the characters is the story feels so much broader).
overall this is a great listen. The use of two narrators was a little off-putting for me at first, but both do a great job of narrating in their own way.

A lovely shortie
I Enjoyed this so much! Just my cup of tea. I agree with another review which said the double narrators are unnecessary and a bit off-putting. But it neither narrator was bad, so, lucky me.
