When her husband passed away after a long, trying illness, Annie Dodds was forced to sell almost everything to settle his estate. Loved the honesty and reflections!
Wow What a great story Annie had to tell. I listened to the whole thing over a course of a long day and it kept me fully invested.

I really enjoyed Annie's story
I have often dreamed of living off grid, a cabin in the woods for solitude and peace. Annie's story of her off grid life was so honest, the hardships she faced, the ugliness and the beauty. What an incredibly strong woman!

Great information
I found this book very interesting in what she went through to live off grid and how she adapted many things to suit her needs.
I agree with her, “lots of people talk about going off grid and read books about doing it but have no clue what it actually translates into to Actually Doing It!”
Think about giving up all your conveniences so you leave no footprint, especially electronically with cell phones and computers.
