Griff💘Jules! Fantastic Story & Listen🎧 Heartfelt!

I loved this book, it is so much more than just a best friends to lovers’s story. I enjoy Crystal Kaswell’s writing style and her way with words, she creates the best dialogue between character, especially the banter. The storylines she creates are interesting and engrossing from start to end. Griff and Jules are best friends since grade school know, they really know each other, their likes, their faults, including their issues and inner demons. The one thing they do not know is their feelings for each other, whether realized or not. Jules and her fiancé Jackson breakup days before the wedding, wanting to help her forget about him Griff takes her on a trip to Las Vegas. While Griff denied his feelings, his thoughts showed otherwise but he always came dup with an excuse. The chemistry between the two was undeniable and I was waiting for it to ignite. When it did it was explosive. I like how their story played out, from the fun times in Vegas to the more serious issues, that each were dealing with. Especially Julies, I loved how understanding and supportive Griff was, he realized he may not have been able to help her but he would be there for her and get her the help she needed. Serious swoon right there! Crystal Kaswell thank you for another great story and for keeping it real and taking me on an emotional rollercoaster ride.

I listened to the Audible edition, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are terrific narrators and voice performers. They bring their characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. I love how they just get these characters, emotions and all are projected into their performance so naturally. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. I thought this story sounded wonderful, I loved the idea of it, and the fact that the book was also about self harming, didn't bother me too much, but the repetitive nature of it drove me nuts. We were told the same thing over and over again. I hated the way they couldn't or wouldn't just say what they thought. They were meant to be best friends.
I skipped quite a bit, I just couldn't handle all the thoughts that were going through their heads and how we were told those thoughts over and over and over again. They could have made this a six hour book.

This is my first read/listen of this series. A fun friends to lovers story that is brought wonderfully to life by the narrators.

Loved this book!

Loved this book! I really very much enjoyed the narrators. They brought a whole other feel to this book with emotions. The story was fun, very sexy, and all I wanted to do was keep going! Wen and Kai are both amazing narrators with his sexy deep voice and her fun and flirty voice. I loved Jules and Griff and their love story is truly one of a kind. So cute. Goes to show love isn’t perfect but it can get pretty close to it.

the narration was super Good.

its easier to listen when the male voice is in every male part. great performance

Arghhhh…again…

I’ve read several of this author’s books, and enjoy them for the most part. This one, though, had me blurting out curse words to the female character. I’ve determined that while I do like the passion & eventual happy ending of her books, I do NOT like that her characters seem so deeply broken to the point that they self-sabotage relationships. It just seems as if the author is trying to say that the brokenness in these characters is more the norm and not the exception.

Great addition to the series

Once again, Ms. Kaswell has given us another great read... she has expanded the little world of an Ink Shop with deep relatable characters dealing with very important issues. Looking forward to the next book.

Couldn't Finish

I struggled on this book, I tried very hard to finish i got to chapter 40 and had to quit. The characters annoyed me in every since of the word. The narrators was great.

My Thoughts on Accidental Husband

This was another great story by Crystal Kaswell even if it was different then others she's written. It was a bit darker and touched on some deeper topics, but it was still really good. I loved not only the best friends to lovers aspect but the deeper parts that touched on emotional subjects.

It was brilliantly narrated by Kia and Wen. They are top favorites for me. So I would have given this book a shot for them alone, but the really did do a fantastic job.
