I love this book! I love books that support values of family time, one on one time and taking the time to look at what we want for our children both short and long term and what it can look like to get there. Goes along with Dr Gordon Neufeld’s work and book “Hold on to your Kids”.
The narrator is great. I just value books read by the author more, hence the four stars.
A great addition to books on supporting relationships with your children vs changing behaviour.
I feel like I got to know the author and her heart. I feel encouraged and hopeful to read about families living with these values in action. A nice focus on the positive.

I didn't expect the religious parts, and learned afterwards about author's association with Focus On The Family (wouldn't have supported the book/author if I had been aware).
