A lot of research supports this work, it is entertaining and historical at the same time, shame I did not have such material at school all those years ago!

Great book, and the narrator does an excellent job. There are a few artistic liberties taken with the historical narrative, but these are cleared up in the historical note at the end.

Excellent work bringing well known battle to life . Great depiction of life as an archer. Brutal and bloody hand to hand combat . Siege warfare well depicted . I expect to read this again.

The writer provides so much amazing detail about a very true event but what is even more amazing is the narrator who brings every situation to life. this book is not to be missed!
