This series hits so hard. It has just the right amount of chosen one energy. Everything he gets is still from his hard work and there is still this humility with not having the character become the strongest alive right out the gate. I’m so upset there aren’t more books out. BUY THIS BOOK YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I’m so sad I have to wait heaven knows how long for the next book. I might just listen to the entire series again the meantime. Everything is perfection I’m so in love with this series.

I enjoy this series it’s building up to a very cool world. Cool fights and political intrigue it’s fun.

the only thing that irritates me about this series is the fact that genders seems to flip flop. fluffy is a female but several times the author call her a a him and same for ajaxs nephew being calling a girl. it breaks immersion at times. Great story otherwise

The dreaded tournament arc is over and MC is back to running dungeons. The pacing is pretty good where occational intense battles are mixed together with easy pushover fights, and I really like MC's drive to challenge and improve himself. It made his progression very satisfying. However, what's not satisfying is when MC discovered a new magic, then promptly forgot about it. I actually prefer the start of the series where MC focused on experimenting and gaining new skill over the current adventuring arc.
