Description

Only one man can cheat to create change in the dungeon of Order. Old evils lurk within. Love will smite them.

Artorian gave up his administrator privileges only to be thrust into a new role. The law he is bound to allows him to slip past Eternium’s ironclad rules and break things once thought immutable. For his family, for all of their futures, he must boldly go where few in Cal like to venture: the game world of Eternia.

Most of the people that have come to test this world hate being here: dying in days and returning home in disarray. Artorian agrees with them: A body based entirely on hard numbers and increasingly potent limiters is a stark difference from the intent-based Essence user he has always been. Eternia is no final product, riddled with more holes than a wheel of dire cheese. This wireframe of a world is seemingly held together with glue, tape, and moody pylons. He vows to dig into the construction, finding and fixing where it went wrong.

Yet, why meander through scaffolding when one can parkour through the rafters? It’s speed-run time!

Another FUN book!

I have enjoyed every book of this series. The world is interesting, the people are likable, the narration in spot on, and the humor is just my style. That said, I'm ready for some resolution. This series has covered A LOT of history but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. It's just a deity sized slice-of-ife story. This book (more than others) just ends without bothering to answer questions. So book 7 is plenty more of the expected fun with an ending that doesn't quite satisfy.

Another awesome book!!!!

So awesomely awesome that your mom would like it. Seriously though it’s a great book! I am constantly impressed that more new and novel things are slapping me in the face. All the back story and things that line up with the other books are making me have A-ha moments.

Good story but it feels like not a whole lot happened

even though there were a lot of plot beats it feels very much like there’s a lot of space in between everything important and that the story itself is short. I noticed that there is also a lot of space in between each of the story threads you get to hear about everything happening in the ocean and then that’s ignored for about half the book it just feels weird because you remember that “oh right there are people over there and this is a character” feeling. however it was written incredibly well in the areas where things were happening and clarified a lot of the lore for the universe.

Interesting, but confused

Reading the previous book (6) gave the impression this book (7) was a prequel to Dakota Krout's series Completionist I've read. Book 7 even introduces Eternia from the Completionist series. I expected to get a better explanation of where Vanderkerken & Krout's worlds overlap. Looking forward to both writer's sequels.

Nothing needs to be said

There isn't anything that needs to be said. Good characters, good plot, good night. Everyone's favorite grandpa is back for more adventures.

I want more!

Can you even get higher praise than every single one of your readers begging for more books? I think not 🤔

Excellent story and Narration

You need to start with the first book and work your way through the series. It blends well with other books and I feel they are all coming to a main event. Love the story and stick with the narrator.

Good continuation of the series.

definitely a book that you need to have read all the previous parts to understand. like some of the books of this type it tends to get filled in a lot with the prompts that the character sees. at least an hour it seems like I'm just reading the prompts and notifications.
