A band of young outlaws/revolutionaries known as the Barrah Gang struggles to survive in an America that is undergoing violent and revolutionary change. They are college kids for the most part, dedicated to peaceful change but forced to fight for their lives against adversaries like the Vets and with uneasy allies like the Guevaras.
Fleeing from attacks by the Vets in South Dakota, Mark Jefferson, Eric Adams, and their fellow fighters begin a long and dangerous trek to Missouri. Along the way, they learn a great deal about themselves and the new world in which they are forced to make a stand for their principles.
