John Fischer has always dreamed about owning his own carpentry business, but when an accident befalls him on the farm, his hopes are dashed and he falls into a coma. At the hospital, he is looked after by a beautiful Englischer nurse, Lisa Jones. Lisa who is a single mom to two children, finds herself increasingly attracted to John over the coming months as they continually seem to run into each other. The only problem is that she’s engaged to someone else. Why then, can she not get John out of her head?

John is equally confused. Lisa is an Englischer but he feels so drawn to her and realises he’s falling in love. However, nothing could ever happen between them but friendship so he resolves to stay away from anywhere the Englischers frequent and sets his mind to finding an Amish girl to marry.

However, God has a different plan for these two. As Lisa questions her beliefs and prays for guidance, she realises that perhaps the Amish way is the right path for her...but can people from such different worlds be so right for each other?

This is book two in the Fischer Brothers series.
