À propos de cet audio
An Arsenal of Gratitude is an unapologetic assault on mediocrity and taking life for granted. These are the lessons from heartbreaking and miraculous stories growing alongside childhood cancer survivors, life-or-death scenarios as a big-game horseback guide, wrestling with addiction, and so much more.
Remmy spares no vulnerable, gritty detail to stress gratitude as the all-powerful foundation to build our lives upon. This book is a no-nonsense crash course on improving our holistic well-being. It will tear down victim mentality, entitlement, and comfort abuse to help us redefine ourselves through gratitude, intentionality, authenticity, and antifragile mindsets. The bitter cliché that we all know in our own story, “you don’t know what you have until it’s gone”, dies with this book.

This one is definitely added into my list of yearly reads. I find myself reaching for it when I’m needing to bring things into perspective. This is truly an arsenal of gratitude. But fair warning, be prepared for it! This book will encourage change within yourself for the better in more ways than one.
Real, raw, & truly awakening.

Some of my favourite chapters were the forest identity chapter. Where he talks about the body and mind. It is not a temple, but more like a forest. Constantly changing, always growing, depending on its nourishment, and adapting to the environment. Growth happens underneath the surface.
Another would be when he talks about his experiences volunteering and growing up at kids' cancer camp. Kids sharing moments of gratefulness, just happy to be at camp for another summer. Talking about their “Best day ever”. It is so inspiring to hear all these stories and makes you realize, life is so simple and so sweet, you just have to change your perspective and be grateful for the smallest things. Living in the moment and being appreciative of the creation of the moment, the struggles and challenges that come with it.
Thanks, Remmy for sharing this! :)
Live everyday like it was your best day ever!
