I enjoyed this audiobook immensely. Truly a masterpiece with the descriptive world building, the plot line, and the beautiful romance that slowly builds. I've been trying to find more fantasy romance that doesn't have smut in it, and this one is definitely one of my favourite finds. 10/10.

The romance felt a little contrived to me, what isn’t great because the whole story hangs on it. All in all it was still good.

The book was pretty good. It wasn’t overwhelmingly great by any means though. The story was unique, but I felt like there were still unanswered questions in the end. I would have been happier if it was a bit longer just to round out the story a bit nicer. The author tried to cram too much into too short of a novel. The narration was fantastic though.
