The best word to describe Toni and Maya’s relationship is “frenemies”. Although Maya has always outwardly acted supportive of Toni’s relationship with her ex-boyfriend Ty, she has been nursing bitterness and hate for years. Revenge has been the singular force driving Maya forward.
