Arcanum Unbounded also contains the Stormlight Archive novella Edgedancer, which appears in this audiobook for the first time anywhere. It is a story of Lift, taking place between Words of Radiance and the forthcoming Oathbringer.

This was so good

This collection of stories was exactly what I wanted to see from the Cosmere, not everything has to be fate of the world type stories. Having things like Sixth of the Dusk and Shadows for Silence be low-key adventures on some of the minor shardworlds gives us that street level perspective and I adored both of them. The new take on Selish magic with The Emperors Soul and Hope of Elantris was thrilling to see and be back in that world. Though the crowning jewel has to be Mistborn Secret History, man was that a thrill to hear, a perfect look behind the curtain moment which for someone who is interested in the deeper aspects of the Cosmere I was ecstatic to have it come to life. Cannot wait for a second collection of these to come #Audible1

All the stories in this book are great. too bad I already own Edgedancer. was a little disappointed when I was hoping for a new Stormlight story

Not a huge fan of the females intonations when speaking Vin’s lines. Makes her sound less silly and more ignorant. But overall, loved the audio book

Great book

I love the way Brandon writes. Its so overwhelmingly intoxicating. I feel connected to each and every character no matter how small a part they play in the story. I feel conmected to the world as his way of exploring small details does not take away from the big picture. I lose track of time every time. Don't get me started on the two readers either. They both go over and beyond what is expected and ensure the story is painted in the mind vividly while you listen. I never thought I would enjoy audio books but this combination has me hooked.

My favourite, although I don’t quite know why is The Emperor’s Soul. I love this story and would so love if there were more - hopefully. This novel got me started on all the other novels. Brandon Sanderson has a great imagination. The characters are all interesting and unique. This is a great collection to listen/read if you don’t know his work and if you do.

This is a great book. It is full of great stories but to get the most out of it you should read most if not all of Sanderson's previous work. Each story is unique and shows the real skill of Sanderson. #Audible1
