I have read this book several times. I love the new life breathed into the spectacular audio version. I’ve already listened to it twice. (The trilogy)

Some of my favorite stories today are those I discovered as a teen. Everything I've read from Mercedes Lackey have been well crafted stories. Valdemar and stories of the countries surrounding never fail to engage me. The reader was good, though I've never thought of Scottish accents it hasn't changed my love of the story, and she holds her character voices well

The final chapter to this trilogy was sad but good with an ending that had me in soft tears.
