Loved this book, the narrator was good except for the male voices, it was very hard to believe Becca was good looking with that voice.

Crazy to the end, and then….to be continued. Was getting sick of the female character and her weakness was proud of her art knowledge. I wanted to finish it so I could move on but alas it held my interest. Looking forward to book two.

This series has a mix of everything I enjoy in a book. I appreciate the way the author builds emotional & relational layers. There is chemistry between the hero & heroine more in the first book than spice. Regardless, the book holds my attention because I appreciate intrigue, adventure and mystery. The cherry on top is the nod to history and art. I've listened to this series at least three times and I still find myself enjoying it because it's the full monty. The narration is good. The narrator portrays the heroine well and does a good male interpretation of the hero.

An intriguing story featuring art, antiques a mysterious alpha hero and a newly single grieving woman. It is unique. After multiple run-ins, which creates both chemistry and frustration between them, Eleanor and Becker find themselves in a situation that forces proximity. The story is long, very slowburn yet angsty. There is a lot of inner talk on Eleanor's behalf. A lot of inner turmoil of conflicting opinions that happen way too much. Makes her wishy washy. But I recognize a mystery in Jodi's style and will read on to find out what really is going on with Becker. I wish it was a dual pov book. Loved the narration. The delivery is very funny at times.

I absolutely loved this one. I'm not going to lie it took a few chapters to really get into the book but once I was in , I was hooked . A few parts weren't my taste but I looked past that as it's personal preference not that it wasn't enjoyable. And OMG, the twist at the end- Jodi should be writing more thrillers because I swear I was on the edge of my seat. Absolutely amazing !
