Description
It has been more than a year since society fell.

Tying it all up
I love how this series ties Middle Falls and Kragdon-Ah up. I am also reading books by Dr. Brian Weiss on past, present and future lives, I find the concepts expressed in Shawn’s work also present in the Dr’s scientific works. Interesting that the concepts converge.
Keep writing Shawn and I will keep reading.

Shawn Does it Again
Shawn does it again in this book. I love how you tie your two other series into this series. It is just so well done. I absolutely love your stories. Can’t wait for more.

The story grabs you
Can’t wait for more Shawn Inmon stories. Have to catch up on Middle falls. Waiting for the tv series.

Fails to Deliver ***SPOILERS***
While I see others praising this book, I can't share the enthusiasm. As a longtime fan of the series' connection to the Alex Hawk adventures, I found this finale a frustrating letdown.
Glossing Over Potential:
This entry rushes past character development, particularly Nix, who played an important role in the previous books. Here, she's relegated to the background. There is no real closure with the characters at the end, it all just seems rushed with no care about character development for the existing characters.
The Shivers: A Chilling Sidetrack:
The "shivers" taking center stage ate up valuable story time, detracting from the core plot.
Janus' Power Play: Left Unexplained:
Janus' ability to manipulate minds remains a mystery. While his villainy aligns with the series, the lack of resolution feels incomplete.
Monks? More Like Hologram Hype:
Learning the Monks were merely partitions of Janus as holograms destroys the intrigue built around them in the Alex Hawk series. It cheapens the mystery and leaves a bitter taste.
A Sad Conclusion:
This feels like a missed opportunity. With it being the final book, the disappointment is amplified.
A Saving Grace (Sort Of):
Thankfully, this wasn't my first Shawn Inmon experience. The strength of the Middle Falls and Alex Hawk series allows me to accept this as a misstep. Here's hoping future works recapture the magic of his earlier books.
