Selling your photos as prints for someone to hang on their wall is a dream of many photographers and this guidebook will help you achieve that dream.

But first, some background on me. I’ve been a successful stock photographer for 15 years now with a focus on “places” and “things” rather than the “people” images that are so often thought of as stock photos. I'm also the author of the popular Getting Started in Stock book that is also available on Amazon with some great reviews.

About 4 years ago, I decided to focus more on selling prints of my favorite travel and landscape images, partly because stock photography is getting more difficult each year, but also because there is far more satisfaction from someone buying a framed print of my work for their home. That is worth 1,000 likes on Facebook!

This book is a guidebook to selling your work online as prints or on other products. Whatever other books might claim, there is no "one size fits all" recipe for success in selling your photography.

Let me say straight away that not everything I do will work for you. And some things that didn’t work for me, could work for you and so I have included details of all my experiments and approaches so that you can understand what is likely to happen and can then decide if it will work for you.

When I started really focusing on selling my work as prints in 2021, I earned about $1,400 that year. With 2024 almost complete, my profit this year has been almost $8,000. So something is working!
