À propos de cet audio
In this fourth message of The Cure to Loneliness, Dr. Michael Youssef confronts two destructive forms of isolation—grief and pride. Teaching from John 11, he proclaims the Biblical cure for the crushing sorrow that follows loss: knowing Christ’s love, His presence, His empathy, His power to redeem pain, and His perfect will. Then, from Luke 15, in the parable of the prodigal son, Dr. Youssef exposes the soul-killing loneliness of stubbornness as seen in the older brother’s resentment. Though outwardly religious, his pride isolated him from the Father’s joy of his brother’s return. In both sorrow and self-righteousness, the answer is the same: humble repentance before a loving Savior who restores, redeems, and heals the brokenhearted, and welcomes the contrite home.
