In this Episode
Our posture isn’t something we set once and forget—it’s something we practice all day long. In this episode Aly explains how posture is a living reflection of our daily movement habits, modern conveniences, and accumulated patterns. She explores how today’s sedentary culture quietly shapes the body, and why meaningful change doesn’t come from a single corrective cue, but from awareness layered over time.
Aly emphasizes that the body is intelligent and adaptive—constantly learning from what we do most. She explains how fascia, joints, and muscles respond to repeated positions, reinforcing what’s familiar in an effort to keep us functional, even if that function eventually leads to discomfort. Rather than labeling movements as “good” or “bad,” she encourages listeners to notice what we do unconsciously: how we sit, stand, carry bags, brush our teeth, or settle into the couch night after night.
