James Perry is a historian and author of 'Brick by Brick: Early Latter-day Saint Meeting Places in the British Isles.'

I wanted to speak to James about the lesser known stories of British 'Church-building missionaries' who built the Latter-day Saint chapels that we still worship in today.

Some highlights from this episode include James's favourite journal entry from a Church-building missionary, what the safety conditions were like, and why the Church donated £6 million to this chapel-building effort.
