À propos de cet audio
I lost my brother David to suicide in 2021; he was only 40-years-old, and he left behind two young kids. In an attempt to deal with my helplessness, frustration and heartbreak, I wrote this book to help others like my brother and maybe save someone’s life in his memory.
Another reason I felt compelled to write the book is because my brother didn’t openly admit to having mental health issues or feeling suicidal–he would have been so embarrassed and had too much pride to ever do that. I hope that making a book like this available everywhere possible where people like my brother can access support services, information and messages of hope without any fuss or drama, might be just what they need to keep going.
I reached out to lots of different people asking them to contribute something they thought might help. The response was amazing and it's very reassuring to have all these voices united and providing support and acknowledgement to those in need of connection and love in their darkest times.
We're all a bit mental.
We all need our health.
We're all alive.
Why?
What for?
Who cares?
Have a listen. You'll see.
Stay.
Hold on. Life is worth living.
