À propos de cet audio
The Atlantic Slave Trade was one of the least humane acts that man has yet contrived in the pursuit of profit. What is possibly worse is that the actions of stealing human beings to work under duress for others was not only condoned by the greedy business men of Europe and the Americas, but also by the African kings who happily sold off their own citizens in order to feather their already comfortable nests.
One cannot even describe the indefensible crime of the white man’s abuse of black Africans on the basis of the historical ignorance, because although the trade first started almost 400 years ago, the subjugation continued well into the 1900’s with the Jim Crow Laws in America lasting up until 1964, and even today many African Americans can testify to daily mental abuse from those who would prefer the era of white supremacy to return.
Our Penny Snippet mini book on the subject however offers no political opinions on the matter but merely provides a factual account of the realities of the trade, written in an easy and informative format that we hope you will enjoy.
