He looks familiar to me. Like I've seen him on the news or in the paper or something.

And the last thing I should be doing is falling for the guy whose baby I volunteered to carry.

She's obviously here for someone else, agreed to meet someone else. About a baby? She wants to carry...my baby? Oddly, before the moment I met this woman, the thought had never really crossed my mind. I suppose the idea never had time to form considering I've just been cleared of cancer. I get the news right before I meet her. I meet her, and everything changes. I want a baby. I want another chance to lead a fulfilling life, and I want...her.

But how can I have them both?

Overall this audiobook was blah … storyline way to slow, took so long for everything to happened and at the end everything was rushed to make sense . Missed so much connection between them, everything was weird . When he cancer was back she didn’t saw the signs being a doctor ?!

This is the most ridiculous story I've ever listened to, I don't even know where to start. This relationship went from 0 to I love you in no time, she made a business arrangement to be a surrogate and then later saying the pregnancy was unexpected? It's also hard to believe that as a med student soon to do her residency and knowing Alexander was ill before didn't think seeing that he lost weight that he was sick again? This was not a well thought out story narration was not great either
