Description

not to bad of a story. easy to follow and listen to. I usually listen to different one so this was new for me. enjoyed it.

Something new, with good spice 🔥
I’ve read aliens makes seeking human female mate books before but this was more of a modern The Batchelor tv style book.
He only has 30 days to pick a female mate out of the contestants but he ends up choosing the makeup artist after scenting her.
The spice is great! I’m just disappointed in how many times she puts down herself for having a more fuller figure, he had already explained he loved her body and didn’t wanted one of the bony contestants.
He’s given 2 days to convince her to go to space with him, but she’s the legal guardian of her young niece & nephew after her brother & his wife were killed by a drug lord.
She also had to become a drug mule to pay off her brother’s debts, and even after she thinks she’s done she finds out he has more in store for her with his very prestigious parents. Thankfully her alien mate has her back saving the day and showing her that she & the kids are now his family. The way he acts with the kids is swoon worthy!

Enjoyed It
I really liked it but the focus on Olivia’s curvy size was repetitive and annoying.

Great story
Great story ... amazing start to the series or as a standalone. The wonderful characters are endearing and passionate from start to finish can't wait for book 2.

Fantastic Male Narrator
I could listen to Tor talk all day, about anything. His voice is a panty-melting siren song and I will be listening to everything else I can find him reading.

Definitely recommend this read.
Absolutely adored this story. All the good stuff from a well written romance novel with the delightful twist of an interesting and unique storyline. I've yet to read anything like this and I'm in love. Just the right mix of sweet and smutty, without the irritating tediousness of a character who refuses to open her eyes and see the romance for what it is. Can't wait to dive headfirst into the rest or the interstellar stories. I hope each one proves to be as unique in its own right. Even the narration was on point. 5 stars all around.

Stupid decisions as plot device
Heroine TSTL ruined the story -- too bad because the premise was promising: a hot alien forced onto a "Bachelor" reality show in order to be matched. I'm sure the sexy alien will save the day, but his potential mate makes such poor choices that I just can't. Two stars instead of one due to excellent narration. DNF
