And in “The Intruder,” a lonely woman’s break-in fantasy quickly builds to a full-blown obsession, until she finds an unwitting partner with whom to act it out.

I was a excited to get this book and more still to see it in audible. I found the author’s reading to be monotone and distracting from the actual story, eliminating any humour that could have existed and provoking me to switch to reading. After finishing the book I found it to be drab and uninspiring. I was left disappointed
