This version of the Riddler is better then most other depictions of him. The depictions of otherwise obscure villains elevate them greatly, along with the new villains in the form of a domestic terrorist faction.
It all comes together in such a fantastic way, and bridges the gap between Batman 89 and Returns so well, you actually feel saddened that not much more was done with this version of the character.
Needless to say this is a 10/10, easy recommendation.

the reader is as amazing as in résurrection. All the characters are there and perfectly developped, the story is epic. i won't repeat myself..

nevertheless the only think i would have liked is to have Batman /bruce getting the same space as in the first book.
there are so many characters and backstories that sometimes the hero seems to be only a vector in the Story, a bit like Nolan did with the third movie.
nevertheless still a great book, enhanced perfectly by the reader.
a must read for all the caped crusader fans.
