Maximilian Storm has embraced his new life as a Battleborne. this book was great start to finish and the narrator did an amazing job. now I have to eagerly await the third book, Dave willmarth never disappoints!

amazing second book

Such an amazing story!! I love that the stat sheets are not repeated constantly. And anytime a female character speaks, it’s actually a female narrator speaking the part!! That’s makes a huge difference!!! I can’t wait to dive into book 3!! I recommend this book to anyone who likes to have a good chuckle and will have you pumping your fist with each victory!!!

Had this playing in my workshop while building props for a Halloween haunted House... it was something extremely different than what I normally listen to, but it was fun, passed the time... and now I'm invested enough in the characters to be awaiting Book 3. Sure, there's some plot holes here and there, and it gets a little juvenile in parts, but overall I'd give Willmarth another listen in the future.

As an avid listener Fantasy listener I highly recommend you give the first two books ago I just wish the third was out already but I have come with the understanding that good things comes to those that are patient😪🥲 keep them coming Dave very good choices for Narrator

skipping to the antagonist every other chapter is completely useless and utterly: at least for myself, jarring and unessesary. you could literally put out (1.5, 2.5, 3.5 etc) and use that for the villain so to speak. as of right now I'm completely uninterested in his story. to me I couldn't really care what he's going through since he's not "in the game" yet at least it would make sense to do that until they come in contact with one another. it would give the author a bit if a break too. best example is. "the good guys"series & "the bad guys" series. or Dakota krout's Artorian & Dungeon books. there's loads of reasons to do something like this.
1. you can focus on and create a more in-depth character.
2. again, it could give the author a bit of a break and have it be a bit refreshing.
3. people who are uninterested in the antagonist's story or at least a more in-depth story before say, a merging, could then opt out of purchasing content.
4. possibly give more to your readers in the form of lesser wait times between publishing.

loads of reasons.

it's just upsetting have to keep tapping the skip 30s button and sadly watching the listening time go down and down whilst you're enjoying the book.

solid books, I enjoy the fact that there is two narrators. Instead of having them to voice a male and female they have an a person for both instead of a deep voice doing a woman's voice
