I did enjoy listening to this book. I found I had to continually stop to take notes. There are so many references, far too many to list here. This book would greatly benefit from an external PDF reference. The authors are clearly very knowledgeable and clearly have many people to thank for their knowledge. But stopping an audiobook 12 times a chapter so that I could leave a note for myself or write down a note while I pause the book can be just a little annoying. It definitely ruins the flow of the education, the book is meant to provide.

Overall a great book and I enjoyed it. I would recommend it for those who are looking for a career in coaching. Please note that this is leaning more into the touchy-feely side of coaching. But as a professional coach myself, I believe that it is important to coach to the whole person. so this was a great read for me.

This is the required textbook for the ILCT foundations course which is a wonderful course. The text is great, very informative and easy to follow for anyone, in class or not, experienced coach or just beginning. I personally kept the speed up a bit as the narrator talks very slowly, but she's very clear and easy to understand even sped up.
